ANT+ improvements would mean there is a new sensor hub firmware.
The same with GPS: If there is no new GPS firmware, there will be no changes.

I don't get why this questions rise up with every beta release.

Garmin won't tell us. Even in the manual of the other device with official Multilink support, the Oregon, it isn't mentioned.
The betas get the best Garmin will do in changelogs.

A friend of mine said this could be the connection link between the watches and other garmin devices. E.g. Fenix5 <-> Edge.
Actually when you use div. Garmin devices at your triathlon workout, each garmin device records the data at its own - this could be the link between them.
This means, the watch will get all recorded data from all connected devices and the other devices are only be another monitor of the watches data...

But this are only mind games...

I think, extended display mode is something else. If you use it, the edge will act as a secondary display to your watch. Data is only gathered at the watch. Its like a Varia Vision.

Interdevice connectivity was once there, I think it got scrubbed with the F3 line. The F2 could be connected to etrex devices to receive routes created on the etrex. It was canned together with Garmin Basecamp Mobile, which was able to transfer routes created in apps like Apemap offline and without bringing them into Garmin Connect

Sad to report for me the GPS accuracy has gotten worse lately. At worst even 2% error in distance. This doesn't happen always as some runs are fine so might just be bad Galileo satellite positioning for those days (been too lazy to check).

There hasn't been any change in GPS firmware, so might just be bad luck. Anyone else notice similar?

Todays run was almost spot on distance wise and there were 6-8 "visible" galileo satellites, so I guess it was just bad luck...
