Just went from 9.20 to 10.53. Major improvement on battery life for 3rd party watch faces so far. It’s only been a few hours. Galileo can be chosen as an option with this update. So far so good.

I went from 10.52 to 10.53 yesterday... no issues so far.

I probably wait further for higher version, I do not miss multilink 2.0 support. 10.52 works quite well.

On 10.52 5-days 3hrs with 3 50-minute runs, battery showing 43% (about 9%/day + 4% per 1hr activity). Acceptable I think. Elevation (190m up/down) seems reasonable and pretty accurate. Cheers

Battery life on my new unit is particularly bad, 10% loss in 6 hours with only a single 1hr activity. I suspect this is not normal.

1 hour of GPS activity can take about 7%, I'd say this is OK

That amounts to 14 hours vs. the advertised 20... not horrible, but I just came from the regular Fenix 5 and I was at 5% per day WITH a 1 hour activity tossed in. A whole different class. It is a heck of a penalty for maps.
