Please recommend a longer watch band, F5S

Hi all,
The band that came with the 5S is a little too short (I don't know what length it really is), I am only using the last 3 holes. After losing the VA3 in the bottom of a lake, I am a little apprehensive of not having a secure device. Here is what I would desire, and hoping someone knows where to find one. The packaging on the F5S did not have included band length marked, so I am a little annoyed.

1. Breathable silicone (read plenty of holes) or leather. Not enough holes and I get a sweat rash.
2. Stretchy preferred. My ancient Avocet watch has this wonderful elastic fabric band. Cannot find anything like it.
3. Long enough to securely latch, whatever that length is, I don't know, but longer than the included strap.
4. Doesn't pull every last hair off of my wrist.

BTW do the plain vanilla F5 or F5X include a second band? I though the 5S was supposed to... I bought it in an impulse buy (idiot mode) and didn't spend much time researching. The 5S was the closest to the VA3 in size and I didn't want a coke bottle bottom strapped to my wrist.

Thanks,
-Mark
  • I asked the same question few days ago. didn't get any useful info....
I found some bands on aliexpress -
look at the comments, some buyers show the original band side by side the "alternative" one. It looks longer for some sellers.

OK, thanks. Nothing there is "perfect" except perhaps the leather ones. I also like those silicone "protector" shells, those may make the watch a little more comfortable on my wrist so the HR monitor bulge isn't so uncomfortable. How has your experience been with them as far as shipping? They have some products warehoused in the US, but if out of China, I can imagine this will take some time to receive.

I gave up actually, the watch generally was too small for my wrist, and the bands looked to be mostly the same length. I traded it in for the plain F5 which has a much better fit for me, far more comfortable. This also gained me better visibility, and slightly better performing GPS. I think the smaller metal bezel on the F5S causes the GPS some sensitivity issues.
