Rarely run on a treadmill but did today without my foot pod (Stryd) and distance was immediately off ( watch showing much faster than I could ever run). Activity showed a stride length of 2.24 metres which explains the numerous “fastest...” awards I got. No customized stride length set up and last treadmill run on previous beta seemed fine. I have sent this to the beta team but posting it as well in case anyone else sees the same thing.

Remember all the Fenix 5X is in the first place a sportwatch when you want reall a smartwatch then you must buy another watch like the samsung gear S3.

Then they should have added an SIRFstar chip :)

but is it just me or are the floor counts much better in this beta?

Managed to get another ride in and didn't see issue with GPS stopping this time. It finished correctly along with elevation and rest of data.

I had switched back to my default (internal) watch face though - I'm boring I spent so long with the default face that I've grown rather fond of it over the last year.
