5x battery life gone bad since 9.20?

Hey folks, wondering if anyone has seen this issue. If I use any custom watch face after firmware 9.20, my battery deteriorates at around 20% per day, and when I press any menu button, there is around a 3-second delay! This is without using any GPS or other functionality. If I use a default watch face, it is responsive, and the battery deteriorates like normal. I've even performed a reset. Anyone also have this issue? Any ideas?

I did an test this night and without touching it battery consumption was 0.65% per hour (15.6% per 24 hours) in my opinion is that way to much.
I used the watchface clean analog (https://apps.garmin.com/nl-NL/apps/4...1-8f5bd2221b3e)
The watchface was on batterysaver mode (so no secondshand was visible).

Tonight I will do an test with garmin standard watchface with a few datafields.

Oké I finished the test with the garmin analog watchface (with secondhand and datafield).
The watch used 0.43% per hour over night.
So thats an improvement but still not perfect (I red that some people had les then 0.3% per hour).

Responsiveness is much better with garmin watchface. So I have the same conclusion as you.
Unfortunately I have no idea if it can be fixed.

Yes I have noticed an absolutely unacceptable decrease in battery life with the latest update. I used to charge the watch less than weekly (with a run nearly every day) and now charge the watch every other day. Something is up. To me it almost perfectly coincided with the release of the new models.

I've noticed the dramatic battery drain as well. It's really annoying. I even went to the beta 9.72 and it's not fixed.

Please address this, Garmin. I have to carry my charging cable with me on trips now. 1st world problem, sure, but it didn't used to be this way and it would be nice to return to good battery life.

In the last two nights my battery drain went down to 0.35% per hour.
This is pretty like it should be (almost 12 days in watch mode only).
This can only be done by selecting an Garmin pre installed watchface.

Same experience here. There is no battery drain with the default Garmin watchfaces, just the third party ones even after installing the latest developer updates. Slightly annoying because it means you are forced to use just Garmin’s.

Well just got software version 10.0 and I can say things are MUCH better. Maybe not quite as good as before 9.2 but certainly nowhere close to where it was. Thanks Garmin.
