Fenix 5X - ASIA and latest software

my Fenix 5X ASIA variant is still on F/W 8.0.

given the the current production firmware is over a generation apart (current is 9.x), are those of us using the ASIA watches being left behind? its really a long wait.

Garmin - when can we expect the latest updates please?

I'm another frustrated Fenix 5x APAC user that is stuck on v8.0 and wondering where are the firmware updates that were rolled for the rest of the world weeks ago ??

...And also why are we left not one but several major updates behind everyone else ???

Guys I feel you pain...... guess what 9.2 for APAC just released!! but my GC still haven't got the update status, hopefully update will be pushed in after work tonight!!

yes I realized. Call it a coincidence or what?
we complain here and the day after 9.2 gets released.

No, not coincidence. APAC firmware updates have consistently come out about 6 weeks after the RoW devices. 9.2 RoW was released on 19 June, so 9.2 APAC was pretty much on schedule.
