Corrupted courses

Hello,

Recently i have uploaded 3 courses to my Fenix 5x created in connect.garmin.com. Everything was OK with the courses until i decided to rename them via connect.garmin.com.
After the renaming procedure I sent them to my watch (synchronized). When i open navigation to follow some of the courses they appear to be corrupted: no elevation plot can be loaded (it gives me "No course elevation data"), nor the map to preview the course is available- it loads some pattern with meridians and parallels only.
This is applicable to all courses i have renamed. If i try to delete any of those renamed courses (Select the course> Delete>Yes>) it brings me back to the list with the courses and the one i just deleted stays there.
The folder "courses" contained in the Garmin folder is empty.
Any suggestion?
  • Probably a long shot, check in new files folder on watch. If remember correctly, I had files that stayed there if they were faulty. But was showing up in course list anyway. I think it was international characters in course points or course name or something like that.

Yes! Your long shot hit the target!
I deleted all the files in the "New files" folder and the corrupted courses disappeared.
    Thank you!
  • Thank you for the suggestion. I had the same issues with my Fenix 5X plus. Tried everything, but only after deleting the file from New Folder the faulty course disappeared.
