This is driving me nuts. I seem to only be able to get notifications on the watch when the iPhone is unlocked. When the phone is locked and in my pocket, the watch does not get any notifications. I just got a new watch and set it up.
On my iPhone X (updated to latest OS, etc)
Notifications preview - always
Whatsapp, messages, etc, settings is all "ON"
-Allow notifications
-Sounds
-Badge Icon
-Show on lockscreen
-Show in history
-Show as banners - temporary
-Show previews - always
On the watch - updated to latest OS
Device settings/Phone notifications
-During an activity - selected
Show - all notifications
Alert - vibration
-Not during activity - selected
Show all notifications
Alert vibration
I have removed the watch from the app and re-link it.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Garmin Connect app.
I have reset the watch.
ALL not working.
What else am I missing? Is there any switch on iPhone security or what?
