Charge stand F5X

Following on the trend of making charging stands for the F5X I decided to turn my modest skills to printing a version of my own.

Main problem I had was the layback angle of the watch when mounted on the charger. I set mine at 37.5º instead of 45º so it is easier to view and sort of looks better.

Also wanted the cable to be captive so mounting and unmounting the watch is a single step process. First world problems. I use a 3rd party cable so if you are going to ask for the STL files they probably won't work for you. If/when I make another one I will shorten the upright piece a little for aesthetic and balance reasons.

I decided to print in 3 separate pieces so I didn't need supports and then joined the parts with dollar store CA.

Seems to work a treat so thank you to the original designer/s for the inspiration.

BTW after owning an F3 the F5X charging system sucks. The only reason we "need" a charging stand is the ridiculous way the charge plug sticks out perpendicular to the back of the watch rendering the watch useless for anything while it is charging and just clutters up my desk, as opposed the F3 which lays flat and could even be worn while being charged.

Oh, and please don't mock me for the filthy state of my watch [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/f57\/1\/16\/1f609.png"}[/IMG2]
