Golf app - Autoshot Game Analyzer

I have had the watch for over a year and I really think Garmin has done a poor job documenting what you can do with the watch and golf app. I just found out that if I track my score on my watch, I can analyze each shot (that autoshot records) I made on each hole. Garmin really should publish this clearly as it is a really nice feature.
  • One thing I discovered the other day is that the Garmin AutoShot documentations recommends wearing the watch on your lead wrist, and since I was not doing that I swapped wrists and put it to the test last night. What I found is that a little more than half of my drives registered after selecting Measure Shot. It's an improvement but not anywhere close to good enough. AutoShot not tracking everything is something I can live with, but if I go to the trouble of manually selecting Measure Shot on the course and it doesn't happen, that's not acceptable. Until this is fixed I'm going back to my S3 for golf. This is one feature that Garmin really mangled for golfers and I'm left to wonder if they did proper stakeholder engagement and testing of this.

I found I have to wear my F5 on the outside of my lead wrist to measure shots reliably, ie on my left wrist (as a right handed golfer) with the watchface pointing towards my target. It very rarely misses a shot when worn like this.

When I select Measure Shot it shows the distance from the last position I hit a shot, ie I hit a shot, walk to the ball, select Measure Shot and the watch displays the distance from where I was when I hit the shot. This obviously relies on Autoshot working correctly when I hit the ball. Note that Measure Shot also allows you to scroll back over previous shots hit.
  • That simple addition at the top of the screen would be great.

Agree with the above, autoshot isn't reliable and it's not fully usable.
Please also add the option to MANUALLY measure shot, from point A to point B, like in all old models like S3/S4.
