Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

9.72 Change Log Notes:

Improvements to pool swim distance accuracy.
Fixed a rare issue which could cause the watch to restart at the end of certain workouts.
Fixed an issue where the abnormal heart rate alert would auto-dismiss after 30 seconds.
Made several bug fixes and code improvements with CIQ SDK 3.0.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Hi all,
I face a problem with this FW on a Fenix 5. The vibration notification doesn't work when receiving a message on my Iphone (text or messenger etc). It was ok with release 8 installed originally. The sound bip is ok, only the vibration isn't working. Is this a known bug of the version 9.72 Beta ? Vibration works fine on the clock for alarm for example. Thanks ...

Have you checked if the do not disturb mode isn’t switched on? It got turned on after an update for me. Have you restarted the watch? These sorts of issues tend to be temporary...

Download and unzip fenix_***Beta.zip
Place the gupdate.gcd file, found in the System_v*** folder, into the \GARMIN folder of the device
Place the gupXXXX.gcd file, found in the Sensor Hub_v*** folder, into the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder of the device
Place the gupXXXX.gcd file, found in the GPS_v*** folder, into the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder of the device
If you have a WiFi-enabled device, place the gupXXXX.gcd file, found in the WiFi_v*** folder, into the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder of the device
Place all files found in the Text_v*** folder into the \Garmin\TEXT folder of the device
Disconnect from your computer and proceed through the update.
If you would like to revert to the last public release software, drop the gupdate.gcd file, found in the System_Backdate_v920 folder, into the \GARMIN folder of the device.
NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.
