So got to try it this morning in Tahoe. Got real time OHR from the Schosche Rhythm+ strapped above the watch. OHR was great, as always, very useful to see my HR, especially in colder waters(watch showed 19degC, as I had set in km).

Now the real thing: it froze on me numerous times(did not know how to give it a hard reset, GPS lost,etc...) GPS +GLONASS mode.
I tried to save my location, it told me I reception is not great in tall buildings or trees- yet I was on a lake????). Once it showed me a 0 distance 5 mins swim, and yet, the best one, it started continuously beeping and vibrating without being able to stop, all buttons totally unresponsive, until I finally got out and gave it another hard reset.

I'll try GPS + GALILEO tomorrow see if I get better tracking.

plus last night it showed wrong times for sleeping.

I'm not impressed with battery life either, is 42% now, after 2 hours of swimming. Always BT off.

so it will meet its maker soon.

sorry but not worth it. Great looking watch, very comfortable. Probably the 5 is better value watch. You listen to music on your phone, and pay same.

    hope that helps,

    Cheers,

    Bob

    Hello Gents,
so I started the swim with GPS+GALILEO, to strange distance tracking for 25minutes. Restarted with GPS+GLONASS enabled, distance seemed reasonable, as I swim between same poles in the lake. Completed a cool 3km some swim, alerts correct this time on the km. OHR from Schosche Rhythm + normal, as usual.

so today's results and testing was somewhat satisfactory.

watch lost some 10% on the 1.5hr swim.

    Cheers
    Bob
