Same story. It looks like they removed segment support for 5x. If to synchronize segments via veb through Garmin express, receive error - not supported device for segments. Same on web page of Garmin connect if to check statistic of last run, segments tab also disappeared. But, on page to aothorize synchronization Garmin and starve we can see, that Garmin recommends to 5x plus, nothing for 5x... So, for now, to use segme ts we have to by plus editions... Shame...
do you mean that when running the watch did not recognised strava segments anymore? that's true and thats horrible because this was a nice feature while running and you are on a segment you will run faster to try to improve your pr. what's happened with this feature?
I mean that it looks like Garmin removing segments from 5x. Only one way to send segment to the device - from connect iq mobile. But you cannot see the results anyhow. On your connect iq in cell phone, pass to page, in settings, where you connecting other applications to connect iq, i.g. Microsoft Office 365, MyFitnessPal and Strava. Select Strava. On that page you will see information regarding segments with recommendation to by other Garmin device and Strava premium. In recommended device no more 5x, but 5 x plus is there...
