With the heat wave, I did my first treadmill run since spring. The numbers were a bit off. Woodway had 8.0 and my fenix 5 with footpod had 7.5. It's usually pretty accurate. It probably has to do with me moving the foot pod since I last used it. I went to calibrate at end but my watch only gave me weird random numbers. It went from the teens, then 30s and finally 40s. What's going on?
I can't speak to the difference between your watch and treadmill (mine usually reads longer), but I have no clue which is right), but since the 9.02 beta, 'calibrate and save' has been broken for me as well. It does weird minimums, and the fractional miles have arbitrary gaps that seem to change each time. This has been true in each beta and the production code since then. The beta team indicated they are trying to figure it out, but no luck so far.
Must be a bug that affects only some users since I've had no problem using calibration after a treadmill run, the again I use Km not miles, don't know if that makes any difference.
