Hello Fenix 5X users,

We have new beta software ready for your upcoming adventures!

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

9.71 Change Log Notes: Please send all bug reports to [EMAIL="[email protected]"][email protected][/EMAIL], and indicate which model of the fenix 5 series you have in the subject line.

Added support for Connect IQ SDK v3.0.
Improved a case in v9.53 that could have caused battery drain for the Fenix 5X

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

After the update my Fenix 5X gets about 2300 score from Tree Benchmark app. Not as fast as the software when the watch was new but apparently faster than the previous versions.

Could you please add Latvian character support? It is so disappointing to have jibrish characters in messages/notifications :(

Thanks Garmin! Definite improvement on battery. I went from 2+% per hour to .2%. Huge improvement. Also, the delay I was experiencing when moving from the watch face to an activity or widget was drastically improved. Thanks again!
