REMOTESW folder cleanup

I usually install every Beta firmware release.

Some step of the update process require to place some files in the REMOTESW folder.
Now apparently there are some leftover files from previous upgrade that was not deleted after the update process.

006B162100.GCD
B162100.GCD
EPO.BIN
GUPDATE.GCD

Do I need to leave the files as is or I can safely delete it ?

Thanks for any advice.

EPO.BIN is the file that contains the sattelite positions and will be updated every time you sync the watch. don't delete it. You will have a faster GPS fix.
One of the GCD files (can't remember the exact one) should be the firmware-update for the HRMrun sensor.

Thanks for the information. It's probably better to avoid to delete any file's.

I have a couple of old ones in there too. For grins I'll move them out and see what happens now...

Still fine after moving them- was just a couple of old .gcds, different version numbers.

After the update files except EPO.BIN is deleted automatically. However, if they're not deleted and your software is up to date, you can delete them.
