Day one using my new Fenix 5s I bought to replace my vivoactive HR that quit working after wearing it in a swimming pool...and I can't get it to connect to my GARMIN ant+ external HRM. I can't seem to find a workaround. The watch did tell me it installed the v9.20, but I feel like that was after I'd already tried. (I've tried again since then) I previously owned two fenix 3s, which i returned because when they weren't possessed they worked great. But they were usually possessed. So I'm familiar with how to work the watch, which is mostly intuitive.
I've turned it off/on. I replaced the battery in my HRM. I just recently used the HRM before my other watch stopped working. The strap isn't even two years old and is ant+, so I'm not really sure what the issue is.
Not how I expected day 1 of owning a $550 watch to go...Anyone have any insight?
