Hello--Over the last couple weeks, I have returned to my charging Fenix 5S and have found that it has not charged fully over night. I got into the habit of checking on it more frequently while charging during the day and have noted very small increases in battery charge (while plugged in for several hours) and even on occasion found the battery charge to be significantly less than when I plugged it in to the charger. Further, many times it takes several tries to get the device to acknowledge that it is in charging mode. In fact, I now always make a point to confirm that the watch is registering it is connected to the cable. I have cleaned the heads with alcohol and a q-tip. No luck. I frequently shut the watch off and restart it, unplug the cable and replug it in....It seems completely at random what works and what doesn't. I will also add that I have considerable trouble connecting the watch via USB to my Mac as well. The Mac will not acknowledge its attached even though the watch acknowledges it is charging. It also will eject improperly on its own. I have ordered a new cable. Oh, and the one I have been using is the original Garmin that came with the watch, not a knock-off. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, thoughts? Is this a known problem?
