I was on the prior public release version of the firmware until this morning when i noticed at 8am my watch had updated automatically. I charged to 54% in the shower and while getting dressed this morning. We are now a mere 8 hours later and my watch is down to 26%. I've lost over a quarter of my battery in barely a quarter of a day. This could be a very bad sign for 9.20. I guess i'm now left only with the option of uninstalling my watch face to try and get the battery performance back to where it should be. what a pain in the A...
I also experienced abnormal power loss and in my case it looks like I found the solution. It seemed that after installing FW 9.2 it was trying to establish a connection with my smartphone (iPhone SE) but couldn’t succeed. (Message regarding connection status via Menu > Settings> Telephone in watch was: "waiting on telephone". I rebooted my iPhone (already rebooted watch several times) and after that battery has been the usual during last 24 hours.
9.2 has been killing me. The watch is running so slowly. I did a full factory reset and went for a 6 mile run this morning and it's already burned 11%. It's realy frustrating.
New beta 10.51 now available for Fenix 5x. I do not know yet, regarding battery life but custom watch face working much faster. Switch from wf to menu and back coming with same speed as from native watch face. Finally, good update))
