Garmin should really be offering a trade-in program for those of us who purchased a Fenix 5 and have struggled with the antenna issues. They've supposedly fixed the hardware in the plus version to resolve the issues. C'mon Garmin, do it. I'd gladly trade in my faulty Fenix 5 for a heavily discounted Fenix 5 plus.
the plus is quite interesting, but i do not like the thinner outer (metal) ring - this looks way less rugged than the current fenix. i wonder why they did that. antenne? style/design? at least this is not because of a larger screen.
and yes, i also think that they should offer a trade-in program for fenix 5/5s owners. they know, that there are problems with some sensors/antennas and now offer a hardware fix, which does not address the current users who suffer from these problems.
