Update failed, now none available

As the title, I checked for updates an hour ago and saw 9.20 available. Went to install whilst connected to GC via Bluetoooth. It failed towards the end.

I can see that Im still running software V8 but the sensor hub has gone from 5.9 to 6.20 so appears or partly updated.

Now when I go back to updates there's nothing to install.

Any way to fix this and update again??

Anybody succeeded in the OTA update after the first failure?

I waited for around 10 hours but the OTA update never came up again. I used Garmin Express like others did. It was stuck on triangle after installation and had to force reboot but worked after that.

Had the same experience. The update showed for me last night and then failed. No sign of it for the next 24 hrs so eventually installed Garmin Express and it immediately found the update.

However, after installing the 9.20 update, the watch was stuck on the triangle logo for 10 mins during the restart. I held down the light button for 20-30 secs and that switched it off. Starting it again worked ok and I am now on 9.20... phew!

Had pretty much the same experience. Stuck on the blue triangle. Held the light button to force a restart, and all good from there.

Same here. A few days ago I woke up to a message my watch has been updated to 9.20. Earlier today when I just decided to check my watch it still shows 8.00. Is the only way to update to 9.20 is through Garmin Express? Any chance I can update OTA and/or via the Phone app?

Exactly the same experience. I've never had an issue in the past so had never used garmin express. any tips?

Express fixed it for me. Download, plug in, add the device and it will find the download. Unplug and install the update.
