Update failed, now none available

As the title, I checked for updates an hour ago and saw 9.20 available. Went to install whilst connected to GC via Bluetoooth. It failed towards the end.

I can see that Im still running software V8 but the sensor hub has gone from 5.9 to 6.20 so appears or partly updated.

Now when I go back to updates there's nothing to install.

Any way to fix this and update again??

Had the same experience. The update showed for me last night and then failed. No sign of it for the next 24 hrs so eventually installed Garmin Express and it immediately found the update.

However, after installing the 9.20 update, the watch was stuck on the triangle logo for 10 mins during the restart. I held down the light button for 20-30 secs and that switched it off. Starting it again worked ok and I am now on 9.20... phew!

Same for me, had to install from Garmin Express. All good from there though.

thanks both - Garmin Express has worked. It was stuck on the blue triangle having rebooted for about 2 mins, but all good now. Another seamless update from Garmin then :-D

No idea what true up is but it's saying it's there lol

Same here as well. Should we expect to get it again or are we forced to use Garmin Express?

Same here, Sensor hub is updated, but firmware still 8.00...

Now I have a major issue, since my Fenix 5 is not recognised anymore on my pc's... so impossible to update via GC.

What a mess....

This morning my watch said "software updated to 9.20". But it is still at 8.00, so I suppose it failed as well. Sensor Hub at 6.20. It's funny it claims success even though it fails.

Update OTA from iPhone failed as well, looked for online information, found this thread.

Used Garmin Express via the laptop and updated successfully. Software version is 9.20. Took a bit longer to start up than normal, but nowhere near the 10 minutes mentioned above.
