Routing on watch using routes created with Garmin Basecamp

Garmin Fenix 5X v8.00
Garmin Basecamp v4.70

Hello,

I trying to use my Fenix 5X to discover new routes in my area.
Using Garmin Basecamp (v4.70) I have created some routes and I have also imported some tracks from the watch to Basecamp.
As far as I understand a "track" is simply a list of gps points while a route is something which can have much less data points and is able to route you.
Routes can be converted to tracks and tracks back to routes.

So if I ride by bike or go out running using a route is the right option.

I would like that my 5X then tells me turn-by-turn navigation, but I discovered some strange behaviour:

- if I transfer a route from basecamp to my fenix, the name of the track will be available in the watch itself, but the route gets another name in the internal memory in basecamp.

- I can't delete tracks from the fenix internal memory from within basecamp. I can only do it from the watch

- If I transfer a route to the watch from basecamp and open the internal memory later, I can delete the route - why not with tracks?

- routes which have been transferred to the watch seem to be converted to tracks and loosing their names, when I unplug my fenix and connect it after doing an activity.
additionaly while the name is correct in the watch, garmin bascamp only shows a timestamp.

It seems that turn-by-turn (T2T) navigation is not working correctly, do I need to enable anything on the watch?
I assume that T2T is only working with routes not tracks?
