Fenix 5x and Extended Display?

I bought the Garmin Edge 520 plus and I also have the fenix 5x. It's mentioned that Extended Display would be available on the fenix 5. Does that extend to the entire fenix 5 series? or is that only available for the 5?

If you are meaning Broadcasting Heart Rate Data, then Yes, the fenix 5s/5/5x all have the feature to send their wrist-based heart rate information to another Garmin device.

no - it's "extended display", where the Edge becomes a remote display for all the 5x, more like a varia vision

it's not enabled in the firmware of the 5x or the 520 plus.....but it is coming

EDIT

working (sort of) in edge 520 plus v2.60 and 5x 9.1

set the 520 into extended display mode and select it in the 5x as if it was an ANT+ sensor

With the latest firmware 9.10 on F5x AND Edge (820 in my case) it's OK.

this looks interesting, have the edge 520 latest firmware 12.60 but can't see any settings for this, where is it? Fenix-5x running the beta 9.1, again not seen anything either ????

I think it's 520 plus not the standard 520 ?

don't have it in front of me but it's in one of the menus (settings ?)

I don't see the option in my Edge 1030 firmware 5.00.
So even my Fenix 5X (FW 9.1) has already this feature, Edge 1030 does not support it yet.
