I'd like to chime in here to say it is very frustrating that Garmin released firmware without notifying of changing a core calculation. Total Distance Traveled should be account for all distance traveled regardless of the activity type. That or they should make distance traveled for each individual activity available as a datapoint. I relied on TDT to show how active I've been through the entire week.
  • When we can expect in EMEA this new official version (not beta) on the f5? My colleagues they already have on the 935 and they spend less money on the garmin watch than me ;-(

Same here, I bought an Edge 1030 this week and i would love to see the Physio TrueUp Feature on my F5! My friends with an 935 are already rubbing this under my nose.

While I am seeing lower stress scores at night since installing the beta I am seeing gaps in my stress readings throughout the night, while there aren't any in my HR readings. I was even careful to make sure my Fenix 5s was snug last night before going to bed. I have attached screen shots from last night as an example.

Is this a bug or by design? Is the watch eliminating potentially flawed data or something?
  • It's okay. Unlike "plain" heart rate the Stress score calculation requires a few seconds of inactivity (you can see it when you open the widget - sometimes it shows a countdown instead of a score and if you start moving, it tells you that you are too active). I assume that if you move (even a bit) the values for those couple of minutes are discarded.
