Woke up Saturday morning and the display/lcd had frozen with lines going horizontally across the device. Changing the screen or trying to start an activity did not alleviate the issue. Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and if so where you able to fix it? I have a replacement device coming from Garmin, but concerned that with the original warranty almost up I will be stuck with a broken watch if this happens again. Thank you for the help
Yes, I have the same issue with my Fenix 5, the display is frozen with lines. I called them Garmin Support last week on 6/13/2018. During the phone call, they gave me the run around, claiming its software issue. They send me an email with options for waiting on software update, return the watch, or get refund. I replied to email requesting new watch, they never reply, I send two more emails, still no reply. I finally decide to call back on Friday, they put me on hold for two hours, and I finally gave up on waiting to talk to someone. I'm very upset after one year my $600 watch is not functioning. The year warranty is up this week. I guess garmin is swamped with people returning these watches.
