F5X and Livetrack notification

lately, when I start and activity on the watch, Livetrack does not send anymore a notification by email as it used to. I have Garmin Connect on the iPhone and the app is running when I start the activity. Also, I have the auto notification on, so it should send the notification whenever I start an activity.

any clue ?
  • I use that feature a lot - nice to know the wife can come and find me if I get knocked unconscious in the woods on a ride somewhere. I have found the same though - sometimes just doesn't start. I usually go and disable and reenable it to get it going again. I find I wait after starting the activity for the watch to pause, send livetrack, and then start again - just to make sure.
  • I would suggest power cycling your phone and your device and trying it again. If the notification still does not go through, then reach out to us at Garmin through our Product Support channels (phone, email, or chat) so that we can work with you directly.
