Question to Garmin Staff. After this update free space on my F5X dropped from almost 6gb to 1gb. Is it normal? Now there is no place for another maps, that I use. This files are still in my device (D4713060C.img and D6019000A.img) Are they required or just the temps that should be removed after succesful update?
I think that living in Finland, I need only gmapcycle.* files and not D6019000A.* files since those are for South West and not showing Finland terrain. Need to test that as it would free 3.3GB space.
Our records show that you are at the latest version of the maps. If that isn’t the case, please run Express again to download the Cycling Maps and Course Updates to your fenix 5x via the Garmin program Express.

Sorry. I didn't read your message. I will get in contact via chat. I couldn't not do a course update, because the map is not listed on gamrin express.
For easier decisioning which part of the Maps i have to use and which not i looked through the map Topo Active Europe V4 and Garmin Cycle Map EU 2018.10 and makred on a europe Map, which File has which countries in it...
Look at the previous post from M. ZIELINSKI. Depending on which country you are from, either gmaprom.* or gmaprom1.* files.Basecamp application show quite nicely which map corresponds which files in watch so it's quite easy to select what to remove.
For what its worth,I was told by product support to hold off on deleting anything as they are well aware of the storage problems and people not having enough space for even the update. They said I'd be notified when they come up with a solution.....its escalated etc....
