Yes, I've experienced a random reboot maybe 2-3 times over the year or so I have owned the 5X. It's slightly disconcerting when that happens (thankfully it never has during a race), but it's no different from other watches I have owned.
Couple of times over the year, like Toffen. The other one is about to start an activity - waiting on gps lock - and it'll say loading watch face and go back to 'main screen'. Happened very rarely and not during an activity so not been worried about it. I consider the watch is telling me to not exercise but go home and play xbox instead!
I had mine reboot two days ago, and though I lost some data, it wasn't a big deal. I'm now of the mind to perform a maintenance reset every month just to stay ahead of it (feels like maintaining a rack of Windows Servers back in the day!). Any negatives to this approach w/the Fenix 5x?
With the latest two betas I experienced the same. I click start button, go to activity and select it. Then it restarts... Not frequently but from time to time, it happens.
It has happened to my 3 times in the last week, always during an activity (maybe I wouldnt notice otherwise) and with NAvigation to saved location activated. Once a minute or so after the previous self reboot. Not likable. Running 10.00
Hello. I have same issue with my Fenix 5X Plus. When i try to sync the watch with a computer (Mac or PC) it reboots constantly. I have restored factory defaults and same issue. Some times the watch reboots by nothing. I can sync with phone on connect app but can not sync with computer.
