Sapphire with Silver Exist Yet and additional question?

So I finally saved enough money for the Fenix 5 and to my surprise they don't appear to sell the sapphire with the silver watch?
How can this be? I would rather not settle for the black as I think the silver looks better, but want the protection of the sapphire. HELP!

So next question. During basketball, I really can't wear the watch as it could potentially cause an injury. Will the heart rate monitor work
on its own if the watch is in my bag or does the HRM work independent of the watch? Any tips would help.

I had the same question about the Silver, turns out the only option if you want this colour with Sapphire lens is the Quatix 5 Sapphire. It's the marine version of the the F5, essentially a superset in terms of functionality ( same plus some marine hardware connectivity)

Wrist HR obviously needs contact with wrist, you could try a chest strap HRM but watch would need to be within a few feet to pick up the signal

If you purchase a HRM-Tri the strap will record your HR during the activity and transfer it to the watch at the end.

Thank you so much. Once I can confirm I can easily remove all the boating software, from what I've read its basically the exact same as the Fenix 5. Cheers!
