Ok, so this morning I went mountain biking as I have hundreds of times, I use a Scosche Rhythm armband because the Fenix 5 heart rate monitor is sadly at best. So I turn on my Scosche it links immediately with the watch and the MTB app everything works perfect as always. At the end of the ride I click stop and save, I notice about 5 mins later its still saving which it does for the next three hours continuously till it runs the battery completely dead, could not get it to stop the saving operation no matter what I tried, yet it would still post text message notifications then back to the spinning dial and "saving". till it killed the battery. Now the battery is fully charged and it's no longer frozen on Saving, but it has no record of today's ride! Has anyone else experienced this issue with there watch, and is there any way to reset these watch's other than running the battery completely dead? Thx
Same issue here. I've lost an olympic triathlon and two workouts to this. I've never been able to recover the data, but you can stop the battery from running down by connecting the watch to USB and then disconnecting, not that that really helps since it's the data loss that's the critical issue here.
