Specific workouts - pickups/surges

Hi

Has anyone created a workout that works when you are doing 1 min pickups at set distances

I have session that is 6k @set pace, then on 6/7/8/9/10k you run interval pace for 1 min and then back to set pace - not finding this easy to do as the 1 min can cover a different distance.

I'm sure this is easy to do and I am just being a bit dumb, I do use the workout tool pretty much all the time
