Audio prompts not working when music plays from the phone

I can't get audio prompts to work when I'm playing music/listening to the audiobook from my phone.

I have Samsung S8 with Android 8 and Fenix 5 using newest software.

Audio prompts work fine when I don't play any music from my phone. Never had such issue with any fitness app or any phone.
Any ideas how to get it working with my Fenix?

I've managed to test my it more and it turns out that audio prompts are working with background music, but only as long as Garmin Connect app is in the foreground on my phone.
When display gets dimmed audio prompts stop working.
I have to unlock my phone, swipe couple times between random options within garmin connect and then audio prompts work for next minute or so.

??????Anyone else experienced such behavior?
