He told me it just started this endless loop of "loading maps." It boots up saying "loading maps" and when the progress bar finishes, it goes back to the beginning and starts again. Every few minutes the watch restarts itself.
I've tried clearing data by holding back/lap + start + down buttons when powering on and then letting go of start at 1st beep then the other buttons at 2nd... same thing. Tried clearing user data by holding back/lap during boot and it asks to erase user data. When I press yes, the watch freezes.
