Setting up activity called FLIGHT. Qs

Hi I am learning my 5X and I also fly a lot (and like to navigate) so setup an activity called flight to "record my flights" (relieve boredom). A few Qs and will have more later (again this is mostly to learn my 5x)

1. Can I give this activity a logo besides the circle and three dots?
2. looking for POIs it does not seem to have airports as a POI type?
3. Setting my own WP, there is no symbol for "airport", can we download more symbols?
4. Can I set this activity NOT to have HR and phone connectivity? (It seems I need to turn off HR in system manually)

I do like you can per activity set GLONASS

My other leanring is maps is SLOW

abennett The fenix 5X was not designed to have Aviation features due to the fact that they are already available with the D2 series. That is the reason there is not an airport icon for waypoints; if you want to have a waypoint icon for airports we suggest you choose a generic one from Markers.

Other features like changing the activity icon and having the option to turn off your Bluetooth and Heart-Rate Monitor in one activity type are not features at this time and we will pass on your suggestions.

Thanks for the replies.

Not having an icon for "airport" is silly. Airports are major -ground based- navigational points. If I am biking to airport, around airport, hiking and seeing an airport and using it as a reference point.

How about driving to the airport based on my expensive 5X is that also not a reasonable

We are not talking about having detailed airborne airspace classifications nor aerial waypoints etc

Can you download more icons? (in general not just the elusive airport one)

Can I have GPS elevation in feet while distances are in KM?
