This has happened consistently and pretty annoying now. I routinely recharge my F5 when it hits somewhere between 30-50%. When it gets to 98% charged the watch display (ActiFace) reverts back to the normal time display instead of the charging display). At that point the watch is frozen. I have to force a power cycle and then it's all good again. This happens when connected to my iMac or just a dumb charger.
I think I experienced a similar problem this morning. Put my Fenix5s on charge and it kept flashing between faces for a while but it seemed to sort itself. Finished charging, put on, had an event on this afternoon and when I went to start a trail run activity it seemed frozen. I tried to start it a few times during the run but nothing. I noticed at the end of 10km that it hadn't been recording data since I charged it. No steps or flights of stairs!
