Hi, since some time, no tracks has turn-by-turn notifications, even the tracks, who previously had (actually all had, except the ones run in the opposite directions). Now I am seeing only kms to finish...
While i have not been able to get any TBT notifications using the 'Navigate' profile (which uses hiking), I had it working tonight. Started a 'Track me' profile, then after a while, enabled navigation to a saved location. After calculation, I started getting a black screen with turn notifications about 100 meters from a turning point. No audible or vibration alerts though, so I had to watch the watch (!) to see the notifications.

Today I created a short route using BaseCamp, uploaded it to the 5x using cable. Made sure routing was set to 'Use Map'. After selecting Nav->Navigation->Courses->(my course) and Do Course, it calculated the course but added a large amount of large blue dots obscuring the route. Starting the route I did not receive any notifications.
If I let the watch calculate a route to a saved position, I get a nice route - without the blue dots - but still no notifications. I can select 'Menu' - Turn - by Turn and see a list of turns to take, but they are not alerts.
I am not trying to plot a route with plotaroute.com and will test it tomorrow.

Michael... I only use Navigation app for car sat nav.....or navigating to a destination.....where you get t by t notifications etc.... If hiking use the hiking app.....with follow course....not use map. Just make your course in GC....and you should get course direction arrows...vibration and tone alerts....similar to the t by t..... :::::::::::::::::::::: Use map will either work correctly.... or will probably reroute your course, even if the route was available on the chosen map..... It may also saturate your entire course with blue pins making the function usless...as you found out...
