Altimeter is wrong on fast decent

Hi. I am now on my second fenix 5x. Currently using fw. 8.00 have also tried fw. 8.54b.

I am experiencing very slow response of the altimeter.
it can use up to 4min to catch up. This was never a problem on fenix 1, 2, 3hr and epix.

this is also causing problem with decent values.

I've gone on several rides this week with the 5X 9.10 firmware. The wind and gust conditions appear to impact both ascents and descents and will either undershoot or overshoot depending on wind and gust conditions. If I am going downhill fast (with wind in my face) and go up a little hill (with speed), the short hill climb will not be recognized. If I am going uphill in windy conditions the altimeter will overshoot the climb (stating I climbed higher than I did). If I have no wind on the climb, it appears to undershoot the climb.
