Countdown in workouts no alerts still

i know this was a known issue and had thought it was fixed in v7.60

im on v8 now but when I do a workout I don’t get the 5 sec audible countdown at the end of each step.

This was a super useful feature as when running hard intervals you knew when a rest was coming or vice versa. Now I only get a vibrating alert when the next step starts.

I cant see any settings for alerts during workouts anywhere. Is this a bug/issue or have I got something set wrong?

(I don’t think I’ve changed the settings so I don’t understand how it’s not working if it’s not a bug)

Hey - same issue here! What happened to my beeps? When i do interval training now - 1 beep. I want my 5 beeps back!

I still get countdown alerts for workouts. This is not a general bug for 7.60 or 8.0.

However, these updates did seem to import a bunch of weirdly incorrect settings from Garmin Connect, so maybe that is the cause?

On the watch Settings> System> Sounds> Alert Tones = During Activity. But if the problem is importing incorrect settings from GC, you will need to fix the settings there as well, then sync.

laurakfrancis and doccy - could you please email us at [EMAIL="[email protected]"][email protected][/EMAIL]? We'd like you to send us the sport files from your watch for the applications that are having this issue.

Please plug the watch in to the computer, and open the GARMIN folder, then the SPORTS folder. Look through the list of files here to find the application you used that has this problem. (For example, the Running app is named "0RRUN.FIT") Please include this file in your email to us. We would like to look at the settings that are stored here so we can resolve this issue permanently.
