Group Live Track - useful ?

I see the latest beta (8.54) has fixes for it.
Does anyone use the Group Live Track feature and find it useful?

What exactly is the outcome? - do you see others on the map screen during your activity? Last time I tried was shortly after the 5x release and I never did get it working properly.

I've never tried group live track, although I've used live track on its own with great results.
Just guessing.....
but if there was a fix in beta 8.54, because it didn't work properly then people maybe wouldn't have had the opportunity to try it out successfully.
Would be interesting to see how well it works though if someone uses the function....

Neve used the group track - I use the live track all the time though. I figure the wife can come find my body if I don't return home from a forest ride one day.
