  • Looks like you don't learn on old mistakes ... we did have that before?!

Battery drain and lugs with custom watch faces !
  • @derechteklinke that’s entirely the point of pushing out the beta software publicly, to expose the new software to a greater range of usage cases and environmental combinations than Garmin can realistically do internally, and asking for bugs and issues to be reported back in by email (see post #1).
  • Watch is very slow after update 8.54 what is the wrong with Garmin
    GPS is also slow

Really? I was always thinking those are made to replace chocolate and alcohol ...

Of course they are - but - is it really necessary to do old mistakes again and again and again?!
Couldn't they try one before putting it online?!

Hi,what part of the watches functionality do you find slower apart from the GPS fix.
Updates after 6.0 (using an IQ benchmark score)..the 5x has gone from a score of 161 down to 98! for IQ prg's.
    (games run slower)
Or are you refering to the standard inbuilt functions of the watch.
  • Very happy with mine. GPS OK. No battery drain.
I have noticed I can now "silence" my FB messenger inbounds. Three options are available from my watch when a message has arrived: ignore, like or silence !
This is really useful. Well it is for me. :-)
  • Will this beta work with the tactix Charlie?

    Thanks.

odsweng any info on this, please?

    TIA

That sounds like a good idea implimented, I do find messenger annoying sometimes, so it will be nice to have a quick silence feature. :-)
