I know there is a facility to turn on back light when raising wrist etc but could there be one to have the screen turned off until wrist raised? This would save on battery as well and also be way cool!!:cool:
The battery drain of the screen with no backlight is incredibly small. 24/7 HR monitoring is by far the biggest drain in watch mode, and even with that running all the time, you still get 2 weeks life.
In my opinion, there are far more important problems for the Garmin software development teams to be solving than such tiny battery life gains.
