EPO file not updating on mobile app

As title...not updating via app..updates fine via express on laptop..

am i missing a setting somewhere..as i rarley use a laptop and would like it to update via app when away for a week using the watch.
so far its expiring after 3 days or so..


definatly lock to gps slower wen it expires compared to wen current

    Not sure if you ever worked this out but just adding it in case someone stumbles on this post later. I had this same problem with the fenix 3HR, guessing it is the same for fenix 5.
    If you sync from the mobile app it doesn't seem to update the EPO.bin file. It seems to only be updated when syncing over Bluetooth. To do that make sure Bluetooth is turned on on the phone and on the watch itself. On the watch hold the up button to get the menu then go to Settings -> Bluetooth -> Sync. That will sync over Bluetooth and should update the file. Hope that helps.

    Had a similar problem today. EPO won't update on a Fenix 5 despite connected to phone via bluetooth. Software Version 14.20

    Scroll over to the Sync command on the ring of commands (by pressing the Light button).  Initiate Sync command manually on the watch by pressing the main button (marked by a small triangle on my watch). This should do it.
