Hrm run or tri? Strength training

I need some advise...
I do regularly, 5 days a week strength training plus some runs in the weekend and I want to know which sensor Is more appropriate to use in the strength training.:
HRM run or hrm tri.
I know that in terms of running metrics there are the same but I don't know if they are the same in terms of confort and maintenance .. The hrm tri is more resistant that hrm run?
I'm trying to use the fenix 5s more than just outdoor activities, like running. And the f5s hr sensor just don't work well in strength trainings...
Thanks
  • I just want to make a good record data of my workouts.... And use the training effect and training effect like garmin say that f5s do. With poor hrm readings it won't work properly.
Even with a hrm chest strap I see that it won't be sure that I get the proper results.
    ?
Every time I try to maximize the usage of the f5s I'm feeling that I'm getting a punch in the stomach ... Poor gps reception (+-4% error), bad rist hrm for strength training (hr avarege lower than 90bpm), poor BT/ant+ connection, steps counting (activates with the constant rotation of the hand without leaving the place).

Scosche rhythm+ is the best for me for weight training as chest strap sensor I often hit with gym equipment.

Really?! Can you tell me where you wear your Rhythm+ for weight training? I've tried mine in multiple locations, and it always fails. Even an Apple Watch Series 3 is much much more reliable for weight training than the Rhythm+.

Inside of the forearm, measurements are spot on compared to the chest strap.
I don’t know how watch can be reliable when your wrist is moving on most of gym exercises.
