Indoor Treadmill and advanced metrics

Hello,

I would like to know if the F5x advanced metrics like Training Status, VO2max estimate etc. are available when using Treadmill with HRM Run and the Stryd footpod.

Will the Stryd device supply the missed GPS data required for advanced metrics estimate ?

No, VO2Max needs GPS. Training Status requires VO2Max in the last 2 weeks, so you wouldn't get that if you were using the treadmill exclusively. If you can run outside occasionally, you would still get training status.

However, assuming you do have a GPS generated VO2Max from some time in the past, you will still get Training Load and Recovery Time.

Thanks for your answer. I'm currently running outside only but I will do for the first time some indoor treadmill session.

Did you train using the "Running" or "Treadmill" app ?
