[8.0.0] Ant+ FE-C and fenix 5x

Is it just me or I'm unable to connect to a Spinner Chrono Power using my powerful watch?

I'm saddened by this...

The Spinner Chrono Power has neither ANT+ nor BT; so no it will not connect to the F5X; or anything else for that matter.

Sorry the Spinner Chrono Console (https://www.thisisant.com/directory/...chrono-console) is what I meant. It seems it has the sensors but I might not be understanding how to use the equipment. I'll try again later today...

As I have understood it, most Garmin watches do not support Ant+ FE-C. But it can be implemented in a third party app. This was done for the Concept2 rowing ergometer, albeit the connection seems finicky:

I don't know the machine you are referring to, but it might be worth looking for a third party app - or convincing a third party app developer that it would be a good idea to make one.

Because, according to its specs, that is all the console will do. None of the spinner sensors transmit. So the problem is not with the F5X.

The Console does transmit BT to smartphone apps (try Wahoo). So it may be worth try pairing Console with F5 and try adding a BT sensor (https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webh...072CE4010.html).
