Wrong Fenix 5 model in connect after firmware 8.0.0, also HR Zone settings did reset

Hi

i own a regular fenix 5 - in connect it says "fenix 5 – Sapphire Edition" since the 8.0 update

Also the Heart rate zones did reset from %LTHR to %HR max (of course i did not notice this reset till i was on the track - with completly wrong Zones).

How about to invest a little bit in quality in testing and not mess up the settings all the time?
It seems like we are betatesters - not customers anymore (let me guess: agile development?)

Ditto on the model now showing Sapphire Edition (it's not). My Heart rate zone was already set to HR%max so it didn't affect me.

My Fenix 5 does not show up as Sapphire Edition but it did change recording from 1 sec to Smart after the upgrade.

Yeah, the settings changes are as annoying as #$%^. And given they occured with the update to 7.60, definitely a lack of testing.

Make sure you change the zones method on Garmin Connect rather than the watch, otherwise they will keep importing at every sync.

Can confirm. Fenix 5 - Sapphire edition
now we can say that wifi doesn't work and we want refund.

looks like they fixed it already - "saphire edition" is now gone in my activities
