After 8.00 GC no longer shows software version and device model in m case a F5X.

Same here. Also, my Varia locked up several times during my ride today. This never happened pre 8.0. Garmin team, please fix. While you are at it, Varia doesn't get the two turn directions, it only gets the second one which always comes after the turn was made.

I am seeing the same thing, tried to upload a photo, but the software on this site is lousy and keeps rejecting it as an "invalid" file.

Yes same here in both GCM and GC Lol.

No watch is displayed for an activity.
I will now have no idea which watch I've used, unless I write it down :-)

Also no calories are transfered after an activity to GC or GCM using car sat nav function?

Tested hike and calories were transferred as usual.

Yep..
Can confirm working again,
now on to calories changing after activity edit.
and no manual input or edit of sleep not saving.
