I'm on 7.10 (APAC). When I press the 'app' button, it now jumps to the middle of my app list instead of the expected behavior of jumping to the top of the list or the last used app. Is this a bug, feature, or is there a setting I need to adjust. It's most annoying as I have my apps stacked in the order that I use them on a daily basis (Cycle, Warmup, Strength, Run, Cycle). Would prefer it to jump to last used. Thanks.
It should jump to the app you last used to record an activity, but that is not necessarily the top of the list. If it’s jumping to a random app in the middle of the list, that you haven’t used recently or at all, then that does sound like a glitch (a bug would be a permanent fault that impacts everyone). You may need to remove and re-add the activity apps to clear the glitch (or even settings reset if it persists and bothers you).
It will go to to your last activity. When you rebooted, maybe your "last" got reset. You can just re-order the activities you use to be at the top/favorites, so they are near each other on the list.
