8.0 is not automatic installed to my 5X

Reboot fenix 5x and then connect it with the cable.

Go to settings then system then software update , might be worth syncing with WiFi before you do it

After reading this thread I went to the computer to update my F5x, pressed the menu button which showed 8.0 installed. Guess my Auto update setting works.
I do have it wifi connected. Now if I just could justify $50.00 for different color watchbands......

Mine was also not updated automatically, neiter it offered update. Had to go settings - system - software update and there was option to upgrade to 8.0

Now when I was holding Up to go in to system my watch told me that it has updates to 8.00.

I didnt do anything. But it didn’t work through garmin connect either.
